Duncan Newman moved to California from Britain over 30 years ago where he worked in Southern California, Canada, New York and Spain performing new construction and home remodeling. Before becoming the President of Newman Windows, Duncan worked with everything from small houses, condos, and multimillion dollar projects. In these experiences, he mastered construction and excelled with both windows and doors. His ability to see the bigger picture and his desire to be an entrepreneur led him to start Newman Windows in 1993.
As you can probably tell from the last name, Nick is a member of the family. He is Duncan’s younger brother and General Manager of Newman Windows. The business is in his blood and keeps him moving in many different directions. Nick works with all the company’s departments, creating new ideas to better serve the customer and run the operation. Needless to say, his job is never boring. Nick is committed to making sure the standards at Newman Windows stay high, because the customer deserves it. He also uses his experience in the industry and life to educate the company’s employees.
Nick says Newman Windows is a stand-out in the industry because they have solid follow-through, always deliver what they promise and answer all customer questions. “We do not subcontract our work. Experience in the industry puts us in the lead. Duncan and I have many years of hands on, real experience in all aspects of this business. Our referral and repeat customer is almost 60 percent.”
Prior to being the General Manager of Newman Windows, Nick was the Installations Manager and a sales representative. He has been with the company since 1995.
Randy Slama loves that his position as the Installation Manager for Newman Windows takes him out of the office. He meets and works with the happy clients of Newman Windows everyday, maintaining Newman’s high standards for complete customer satisfaction.
