If you've ever needed service, a replacement part, or support for a Milgard window, you've probably been asked for your SO number, but knowing exactly where to find it isn't always obvious.

Your SO (Sales Order) number is a unique identifier assigned to each individual window Milgard makes, based on the specific measurements taken for your home. Because every window is custom-built, this number is the key to referencing your exact window if you ever run into issues down the road.
SO numbers have been included on windows since 2008, printed between the two panes of glass on the spacer — typically tucked into the upper right or left corner, and often faint enough that you'll need to look closely. For windows made prior to 2008, the number wasn't included on the glass at all, so you'll need to call in with your address instead.
The exact placement also depends on your window style. We show you where to look on an Intrinsic window (printed directly on the glass), as well as on Styline and Tuscany windows (etched on the spacer between the panes). The format is generally seven to eight digits, followed by a decimal point and three more numbers.
And if you search and simply can't find it? Don't worry, that happens often, since these numbers can be genuinely hard to spot.
